RiNo Neighborhood Identity
The RiNo Identity Refresh project is all about infusing new life into the brand identity of RiNo, Denver's vibrant artistic neighborhood.
Through the creation of a visually captivating identity, distinctive brand elements, and carefully crafted design principles, the aim is to reflect RiNo's rich history, urban vibe, and dynamic art scene. The project encompasses a diverse range of deliverables, including print and digital assets, eye-catching environmental graphics, and merchandise. These materials come together to create a cohesive and compelling brand presence that resonates with RiNo's diverse audience, elevating its status as Denver's creative heartbeat.
Where art is made
RiNo's unwavering support for its local creative community is evident through various initiatives. In the wake of the pandemic, RiNo distributed $200,000 in grants to 90 participants, providing critical support to local artists, creatives, and businesses. The RiNo Mural Program, which collaborated with 32 local artists in 2021, paid a total of $126,000 directly to artists, showcasing RiNo's commitment to putting art and artists at the heart of the community. The district's curation program also connected over 30 artists with commissioned projects, educating and inspiring developers, residents, and businesses about the importance of supporting the local art scene. Additionally, RiNo awarded another $50,000 in unrestricted grants to local organizations working towards social justice, equity, and the eradication of racial discrimination in historic neighborhoods such as Five Points, Cole, Globeville, and Elyria Swansea.

The merchandise serves as wearable and shareable expressions of RiNo's artistic identity. Designed with unique artwork and branding that reflects RiNo's urban vibe and creative energy, the merchandise acts as a tangible extension of the RiNo brand, promoting a sense of community pride and belonging among residents, visitors, and supporters alike. The merchandise is meant to spark conversations, create connections, and contribute to the overall experience of engaging with RiNo's artistic spirit.
